Little-Known Game

Finished Mass Effect over the weekend.

As I was browsing my Steam game list looking for, you know, a shorty, breezy title to cleanse the palate, I came across a game I hadn’t heard much about in the blog scene. Not quite sure what it’s all about yet – it has something to do with dragons and getting lost in the woods and collecting brooms, I think. Since there doesn’t seem to be much written about it, I’ll keep poking around and let you know if I find anything interesting.

  1. But will you do that little known game justice? Just rushing through the main quest is one of the worst ways to really experience it.

  2. Have you tried Risen? I liked it so much I bought it for the 360 also. I gifted it to my friend, and he has put over 100 hours into it. Of course Skyrim is good too lol.

    • Looking at the Steam store page, I seem to recall seeing it during the Winter Holiday sale. I didn’t give it much thought, especially after watching the trailer. While I have a solid catalog of games to play, I’ll keep an eye out for it should another sale come along.

  3. I hear they has a bucket. Unless the devs be taking their bukkit, I’d heard conflicting reports about that.

    • sorry, but what is this ‘bucket’ joke? I really don’t get it.

      • There’s a somewhat famous video on Youtube, demonstrating that you can pick up a bucket and place it on the head of NPC’s, who will then not notice anything whatsoever that happens until the bucket is removed. You can rob their house clean and kill their family and then remove the bucket without a complaint.

I combined that with the LOLrus just to confuse two memes.
